영희가 그린 화려하면서 환상적인 여인들을 묘사한 작품은 마치 그 모델들에게 말을 걸듯이 여인의 숨겨져 있는 은밀한 매력을 표현하고 있다. 어떤 그림은 샤갈의 회화처럼 따뜻하고 정겹고, 르누아르 그림처럼 서정적이고 연인을 향한 뜨거운 그리움이 향수처럼 짙은 향기를 풍긴다.

It is lyrical, like the paintings of Renoir, and has a passionate longing for a lover, bursting with flavor, like a perfume.
그의 작품 속에 짙고 화사한 마치 가을의 여인 같은 영화 속 여인 같은 인물들은 한눈에 봐도 작가 자신을 연상 시킬 만큼 독특한 감각과 형태로 형상화 한다. 또한 이질적이면서도 낯선 색채를 주저하지 않고 풍부한 색상을 사용하는 부분에서 작가의 내면에 열정을 가지 할 수 있다
The figures in her paintings are colorful and gorgeous, and look like women in the autumn, or in the movies,are embodied with a unique sense and form, to remind the artist of herself, at a glance. Since she did not hesitate to use strange heterogeneous colors, but used rich colors, she must have theinner passion of an artist.
자화상이거나 누나의 모습을 닮은 내면의 표정들이 점진적으로 자신만의 양식이 담긴 여인으로 재탄생 되는 것은 작가로서도 반가운 일이다. 특히 지극히 여성적인 인물 속에 여인의 심리적 상태를 간결하게 표현함으로써 오늘날 여류 구상 화가들의 폭을 넓히고 있다.
Self-portraits or inner ｅxpressions, which resemble an older sister, are gradually reborn in a woman who has her own form. This should be welcomed as an artist. In particular, she has expanded the breadth of current female figurative artists,by expressing the psychological state of women succinctly in every feminine figure.
그리고 그 모습들은 생각해보면 아름다운 꿈을 꾸는 깨어나기 싫은 여인의 표정이거나 초상이다. 무언가를 꿈꾸는 듯 한 몽환적이며 환상적인 표정들, 그 눈빛이나 표정은 더할 나위 없이 따뜻한 시선과 마음을 가진 여인들의 초상이다. 어쩌면 피카소가 “내가 인상파 화가라면 얼마나 행복할까” 라고 한 말속에는 탐미적인 아름다움을 추구하는 영희의 그림을 부러워했을지도 모를 일이다.
