영희는 회화적인 색채의 아름다움을 극명히 보여주는 컬러리스트이다. 그의 작품과 마주하는 순간 ‘이것이야말로 그림이다’라는 기분이 든다. 마치 마법에 걸린 것처럼 자극적이면서도 아름다운 색채이미지에 흔쾌히 빠져들게 된다. 실제와는 전혀 다른 색채이미지를 통해 환상적인 아름다움을 보여주기 때문이다.
Younghee is a colorist clearly showing the beauty of pictorial colors. At the moment when facing her artwork, I think ‘this is a real picture.’ Like I am enchanted, I am gladly indulged in sensational and beautiful color image, because her artwork shows the fantastic beauty through the color image which is completely different from the reality. She blocks the realistic sense with brilliant color image which overwhelms the sense.

시선을 압도하는 현란한 색채이미지로 현실적인 감각을 차단한다. 그리하여 그의 작품이 만들어낸 환상적인 방으로 거침없이 들어서게 만든다. 그 환상적인 방은 풍부한 원색적인 색채의 프리즘으로 이루어져 있다. 그의 작품 앞에 서는 순간 현실적인 감각이 일시에 마비되는 까닭은 현실과 완연히 다른, 진정한 의미에서의 독립된 회화적인 공간을 만들어내고 있기에 그렇다. 현란한 원색의 조화 및 대비로 일관하는 눈부신 색채공간은 일상적인 시각을 일시에 혼란에 빠뜨린다.
Thus, she makes us enter a fantastic room which her artwork creates without hesitation. The fantastic room is made of the prism of enriched primary colors. At the moment when I stand in front of her artwork, my realistic sense is temporary paralyzed, because her artwork creates independent pictorial space in the true sense which is completely different from the reality.
