Innovative approach to documenting the temporal beauty of nature

Hans Hofmann mused, “Creation is dominated by three absolutely different factors: First, nature, which works upon us by its laws; second, the artist, who creates а spiritual contact with nature and his materials; third, the medium of expression through which the artist translates his inner world.”

Following this credo, Korean artist Ryu Youngsin's abstracted expressionist style illustrates the power and beauty of nature. Focusing on vivid color and integrated texture, her mixed media paintings evoke the visceral power of nature. Impressed and fascinated by the landscape and its elements, Ms. Youngsin's dazzling compositions pulsate with an emotional bravura and are passionate reflections revealing her personal perceptions of nature.

Rather than re-creating a landscape on a canvas, Young-Sin's paintings are an investigation into representations of what nature means to humans. Filtered through an expressive abstract vision and a creative imagination, Ryu Youngsin captures the vast expanses of nature, bringing the vibrancy of landscapes to life with dynamic brushwork and thick paint application.

Passionately responding to the sublime majesty of the environment, Ms. Youngsin invites viewers to experience the majesty of natural terrain, carefully highlighted by magnificent color and masterful renderings of the lush land.

Viscerally exploring new natural realms, she adroitly illuminates the constant evolution of nature, featuring a parallax vision. With a magical transformation, vibrant hues of color become fluidly organic, echoing the landscapes that inspired each composition.

It is this visual dynamism that rushes through the picture plane, saturating the audience in a dynamic burst of dazzling hues. Cascades of paint follow a rhythmic cadence of brushstroke, as Ryu Youngsin's abstracted canvases resonate as much with passion as with hue, emphatically communicating the raw, visceral power of the magnificence of the organic world.

Virtuosically coating her canvas, her compositions lend a richly nuanced texture to her innovative approach to documenting the temporal beauty of nature. Creating lively compositions as well as a conversation between natural subjects and their environments,

Ryu Youngsin's expresses sentiments, emotions and feelings which are inspired by and representative of our surrounding world.
